With our latest release, we updated the payment settings for the restaurant to be much more sophisticated than what it used to be.
When it comes to payments, each restaurant has got their own preferences. As a white labelled service provider, it’s quite a challenge to accommodate all of them. But handling payment preferences correctly is really crucial for the restaurant owners.
One of the key realisations that we have had working with hundreds of restaurants is the past is that, the payment settings are basically different for how order is being fulfilled i.e the preferences depend on if the order is pickup, delivery or dine-in.
To reflect this, we have updated the payment settings, such that you could select which payment options are accepted per collection type. I have attached here with a screenshot which shows the payment settings in the upcoming version.
At Restoplus, technology is at the heart of everything we do and one of the key philosophies that we follow as a development team is to model everything based on reality. This thinking has lead to interesting payment options like the follows:
- Online Payments (including ApplePay & GooglePay)
- InStore Payments (for pickups only)
- Cash on delivery
- Card on delivery (turn it on if your delivery drivers carry EFPOS terminal)
